Distance contract
The seller of the goods offered in this Online Store, on the one hand, hereinafter referred to as the Seller:

and the person placing the order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, on the other hand, enters into the following Agreement:
The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver the goods to the Buyer in accordance with the Buyer's order.
Delivery and payment procedures
The Buyer places an order for goods through this website, indicating the type and quantity of goods to be ordered. The Buyer has the option of paying for the goods using the payment tools built into the Online Store or by paying the invoice corresponding to the order prepared by the Seller and sent to the Buyer by e-mail. The invoice is prepared electronically and is valid without a signature.
The Seller ensures delivery of the goods within 5 working days of receipt of payment for the goods, coordinating the delivery time with the Buyer.
Payment
1. Payment by credit/debit card (online). When making a prepayment, you can use debit and credit cards VISA, MasterCard, Maestro , if you have activated the option for secure online purchases. This can be activated in your online bank. The moment the cardholder information, card number, expiration date and CVV are filled in, the order amount will be debited from your card account.
2. Payment via internet banking (online). When making a prepayment, you can use your internet banking - confirming the purchase with your chosen authentication methods and security measures. Once everything is confirmed, the order amount will be debited from your card account.
3. Bank transfer with invoice.

Warranty and right of withdrawal
The Buyer has the right to refuse the goods within 14 calendar days from the moment of receipt of the Goods by sending a letter of refusal to the Seller to the email address: info@veikalsberniem.lv The Seller sends the letter of refusal form to the Buyer by email at the Buyer's request.
Customer complaints are reviewed within 7 business days from the moment of receipt, with a response sent to the specified contact address.
The Buyer is obliged to return the goods to the Seller within 7 days after sending the letter of refusal to the address: SIA BB Bērnu Bode, Medņu iela 7, Valmiera, LV-4201.
All expenses incurred in returning the goods to the Seller, borne by the Buyer .
The money is returned within 14 calendar days from the date the client has sent a written refusal. The company will refund the money only to the bank account specified in the refusal form.
The buyer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal if:
- the ordered goods cannot be returned due to their nature and they have been used, are perishable or are subject to rapid consumption;
- the ordered goods are damaged or their packaging is damaged
- the ordered goods are used
- The ordered goods are hygiene and care products, the opening and reuse of which is not hygienic and ethical
- the ordered goods are made specifically for the Buyer according to an individual order, after coordination;
Article 12, Part 6 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia states that "the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the period of exercising the right of withdrawal". The Seller reserves the right to refuse the Buyer to exercise the right of withdrawal or to withhold compensation in the event that the goods are damaged, due to careless handling of the goods during use or failure to follow the instructions, if the original packaging of the goods has been lost or if its packaging is significantly damaged.
Warranty
The seller guarantees the delivery of high-quality and undamaged goods.
- What to do if the product or service does not comply with the terms of the contract?
In this case, you have the right to file a claim with the seller of the goods or service provider for non-compliance of the goods or service with the terms of the contract immediately after receiving the goods, indicating the defect in the goods.
A consumer who has been sold or given a product that does not comply with the terms of the contract has the right to request that the seller of the product perform one of the following actions:
- reduces the price of the product accordingly;
- eliminates the non-conformity of the goods with the terms of the contract or reimburses the consumer for the costs of eliminating the non-conformity;
- exchange the product for the same or equivalent product that would ensure compliance with the terms of the contract;
- cancel the contract and refund the consumer the amount of money paid for the goods.
The 2-year warranty (as stipulated by Latvian legislation) does not apply to all types of goods that are subject to natural wear and tear, such as books, cards, etc., made of paper.
Dispute Resolution Rules
Disputes regarding the fulfillment of obligations are resolved through negotiations. BUYERS, who are considered consumers within the meaning of regulatory enactments, have the right to use alternative dispute resolution options in accordance with the procedure specified in regulatory enactments by submitting a written application to the SELLER regarding out-of-court dispute resolution, indicating:
1. Name, Surname, contact information;
2. Date of submission of the application;
3. The nature of the dispute, the claim and its justification.

Data processing
By entering the required information when placing an order, the Buyer confirms that he/she has read and agrees that the data provided by him/her is used so that the Seller can accept the Buyer's order and deliver the goods in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Latvia. By entering the information, the Buyer agrees that notifications related to the processing of the Buyer's order will be sent to the specified e-mail address.
Data security
The information provided by the buyer (including first and last name) will be used solely for the purpose of processing and fulfilling the order. Your data will not be misused or passed on to third parties.
